She was born in Budapest. She graduated form Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, a disciple of professors Tibor Wehner and András Kórodi receiving two degrees as a pianist and conductor.
As a pianist she takes part in international chamber competitions: Budapest, Munich, and Beograd. She participated in several international master classes, her masters were Nicolai Rabinovits, Avrid Jansons, Igor Markevitch. In 1976 she participated in the "Gino Marinuzzi competition in San Remo. As an assistant she worked at the Spoleto Festival, under Giuseppe Patané.
After graduating from Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, she worked at the Hungarian Sate Opera. She taught at the Conservatory and at the University of Theatre and Film, as an assistant to László Vámos.
In 1980 she was first a guest conductor, than leading conductor at the Budapest Operetta Theatre. She has been the leader of the Tatabánya Symphony Orchestra for nine years. She was guest in Austria, Germany, Nederland, Italy, Israel, and Japan, where she is permanent guest of the Japan Operetta Company in Tokyo.
Besides classical operettas her repertoire contains musicals as well.
