He started his musical studies as a pianist in Veszprém. In high school he studied composing, solmization and musical theory at the Richter János Vocational School of Music in Győr where his teachers were László Draskóczy (composing), Marianna Spiegel and Miklós Szabó (solmization and musical theory). He continued his studies at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music (Budapest) where his majors were conducting and composing. His professors were Ervin Lukács, Tamás Gál (conducting) and János Vajda (composing). He got his degree summa cum laude in conducting in 2001 and in composing in 2003.
From 1999 he has been teacher of composing, scorereading, music theory, orchestration and literature of music for five years in the Richter János Vocational School of Music. He also led the school’s symphony orchestra. Since 1996 he has regularly attended Yuri Simonov’s conducting mastercourses at the Academy of Music. In 2000 he attended prof. Rudolf Barsai’s mastercourse (Academy of Music) and the Bartók Seminar of Zoltán Peskó and László Tihanyi in Szombathely. Since 2001 he has been the leading repetiteur of the Hungarian National Opera.
Since 2003 he has been a conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of the Budapest Technical University, and has conducted his orchestra in concerts in Budapest as well as France, Italy and Transylvania. His debut as a conductor was the performance of János vitéz in the Erkel Theatre in November 2005, and since then he has conducted Die Zauberflöte, Stravinsky's one-act operas and The King's New Clothes. He has worked as a guest conductor with the Hungarian Telecom Symphony Orchestra, the MÁV Symphony Orchestra, the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra, the Szabolcs Symphony Orchestra and the Oradea Symphony Orchestra.
