The Hungarian born guitarist Gábor Podhorszky started playing the guitar at the age of 14 in Zalaegerszeg and continued soon in the School of Music and Fine Arts in Pécs.
He graduated at the Faculty of Music of the University of Szeged as a Guitar Teacher and Performer of Chamber Music in the class of Andrea Bozóki, Pál Paulikovics and Dávid Pavlovits in 2004.
He took part on several national and international competitions and master courses and had successful recitals in Hungary, Austria, Italy, Czech Republik, Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, Serbia and The Netherlands. Worked together as a soloist with Helmuth Österreich (World Guitar Orchestra) and Taco Kooistra conductors.
From time to time he appears as a member of several Rock and World Music formations. At the moment he is living in The Netherlands and studing classical and baroque guitar at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
