Conductor, born in 1966 in Brussels. Graduated from the piano and percussion department of the Budapest Béla Bartók Conservatory in 1984, then received a diploma in piano (1989) and conducting (1993) from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music Budapest.

In 1991-1998 he was a conductor-répetiteur at the Hungarian State Opera House. In 1999-2003 he was music director of the Szeged National Theatre and music director of the Open-air Festival.

Since 2003 he has been a resident guest conductor of the Hungarian State Opera House, from 2004 he is music director of the opera department at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music Budapest. He has conducted opera productions of the Szentendre Summer Festival, the Szeged Open-air Festival, the Court of Music and the Miskolc Opera Festival.

He has worked as a conductor with Miklós Gábor Kerényi, Balázs Kovalik, András Békés, Sándor Zsótér and Péter Valló. He has made guest appearances in most countries of Europe, Japan and the United States. Besides Italian comic operas his repertoire includes pieces such as Richard Strauss's Elektra.

Apart from conducting he is also a lecturer at the Academy of Music.
