She was born in 1968 in Miskolc (Eastern Hungary). Having obtained her diploma at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where her professor was Vilmos Szabadi, she spent a year at the Academy of the European Mozart Foundation in Prague, later, as first violinist of the Dohnányi String Quartet, a year in 1996-1997 in Lyon, France, to pursue postgraduate studies. She started to play in the Budapest Festival Orchestra in 1994, since 1997 she has been member of the BFO. She has won several prizes at different national and international competitions, both as solo violinist and with the Danubius String Quartet.
