Nikoletta Szőke was born in 1972, at Keszthely. She started to learn music in her native town (Festetics Music School), and continued it later in the Musical Secondary School of Veszprém. Following an academic year spent in Graz (Austria) in the master-class of Matthias Maurer, she was admitted to the Franz Liszt Music Academy of Budapest where she obtained her diploma in 1996. A regular guest musician of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, Ms.Szőke is also member of the Grassalkovich String Quartet.
