Born on 7 November, 1981. Orsolya Vági started
her cello education at an early age, enrolling at the Zoltán Kodály Hungarian Chorus Primary School. She developed her skills at the Béla Bartók Vocational School of Music, which is a mentor institution for the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. She gained admittance to the Liszt Academy in 2001, and she is currently studying there with Prof. István Csurgay as her tutor.
She has pursued a deep interest in modern and contemporary musical works, and gave her first performances with works
by contemporary Hungarian composers on her repertoire.
She has performed with different chamber music groups, orchestras, as well as a solo artist. She has performed with Gábor Szemendri (piano), Bábel trió, Maya String quartett, Ponticello-violoncello orchestra.
