Zsuzsanna Gráf graduated as a secondary school vocal teacher and conductor and also piano teacher from the Franz Liszt Music Academy. In 1988, she created the music faculty of the Városmajor Secondary School and founded the Angelica Girls Choir. During its 15 years, the choir has become one of the gems of Hungarian music life and is acknowledged internationally. As director of the Europa Cantat Festival Atelier and a competition jury member, Zsuzsanna Graf is much in demand. She frequently hosts conducting courses, demonstrations and chorus rehearsals and thus helps spread the Kodály method in Hungary and abroad. Zsuzsanna Gráf, besides her work with the Angelika Girls Choir, also conducts the Budapest Chamber Opera and the Honvéd Male Choir, while as a pianist, she has partnered many distinguished chamber musicians (mostly vocalists) in concerts and recordings. She is committed to programming important contemporary works for choir by living Hungarian composers for which she received Artisjus Awards in 2000 and 2004. In 2007 she was awarded the Liszt Award, in 2013 the Béla Bartók-Ditta Pásztory Award and in 2024 the Outstanding Artist of Merit of the Republic of Hungary.
