Born is Budapest, Ms. Párkai was a student at the prestigious Franz Liszt Academy of her native town, where she studied with Lóránt Kovács and Erika Sebők. She participated in masterclasses of Jean-Pierre Rampal, András Adorján András, Jean Claude Gerard and Helmut Rilling and received first prize at the National Woodwinds Competition of Győr. At present she is pricipal flutist of the MÁV Symphony Orchestra and, as a guest musicians, plays frequently in the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Her first CD, featuring works by Schubert, was released in 2004.
