Édua Zádory was born in 1974, in Kecskemét. He began violin studies at the age of seven and at the age of 12 he was admitted to the preparatory section of the Szeged College of Music where his teacher was Ferenc Szecsődi. At the age of 16 he won a Swiss State Scholarship. His teachers were Habib Kayaleh and Tibor Varga. In 1997 he was admitted to the Vienna Academy of Music and received his diploma in November 2005. His teacher was Günter Pichler, first violinist of the famous Alban Berg Quartet, then Ernst Kovacic. He regularly attended private lessons and master courses of Yehudi Menuhin, Eszter Perényi, Péter Komlós, Sándor Devich, István Ruha and the Altenberg Trio. He has received invitations to many countries of Europe, as well as to Japan, Canada, China and the USA. He has been guest artist several times at the Styriarte and the Mondsee Festival. In 1998 his first CD appeared in Paris, followed by another three recordings. In 2006 his CD of duos and trios by Vladigerov was issued by Hungaroton in 2006.
