Gábor Júlia

Júlia Gábor studied bassoon in Budapest with László Hara and then Gábor Janota. She has been a member of the Hungarian State Opera since 1980 and first bassoon since 1984. In 1982 she was a founder member of the Budapest Wind Ensemble and in 1985, joined the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra In 1991 she won the orchestras musician of the year award and in 1998, was awarded the Ferencsik prize.
