He was born in 1979 in Törökkanizsa (Yugoslavia). He started playing the bass as a self-taught musican. When he turned 20, he studied for a year at the Hammido Elementary Music School in Szeged where he was the student of Janos Magyar. From 2000 he studied at the bass guitar faculty of the Kőbánya Music Studio. His instructors were Otto Ullmann, Bela Lattmann and Gyula Babos. In 2004 he was admitted to the jazz faculty of Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, where he is the student of Béla Lattmann. He plays in several bands: R-Go, Kata & the Soultrain, Trio Forte and also takes on different session projects, but he finds Special Providence as the best place for expressing himself. His favourite bass players are: Jaco Pastorius, Gary Willis, Victor Bailey and Nathan East.
