He finished his studies at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music on 1982. He was a prizewinner of international competitions, like Concertino Prague in 1978 (2nd prize), Pabianice in 1980 (2nd prize), Prague Spring Festival in 1982 (2nd prize), and Budapest International Trumpet Competition in 1984 (1st prize). From 1979 he is a solo trumpeter with the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra. In 1982 the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra elected him a member.
