She began his music studies in 1961 at the Music School of Székesfehérvár, on the faculty of violin and singing, and at the Vasvári Pál Secondary School of Music, where her teacher was Mrs Mihályi. In 1971 she graduated from the Teachers Training College of Eger, Faculty of Hungarian language and literature and Music, as pupil of Lőrinc Tar and László Rezessy. In 1974 she received her diploma on Hungarian literature of the Kossuth Lajos University of Arts and Sciences. As a student of István Párkai she obtained her degree as a choir master in 1976. She attended Professor Krikor Tchetinians master course in Bulgaria in 1986. He was a school teacher in Újfehértó and Szolnok-Szandaszőlős in 1971-74, then at the Varga Katalin Grammar School and Bartók Béla Music School in Szolnok in 1974-79. She was the choir master of the Bartók Béla Choir between 1978 and 1988. From 1988 she has been the chief counselor at the County Hall of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok Conty, and one of the organizers of the cultural life of the county. In 1991 she founded the Ádám Jenő Private Music School in Szolnok, where she has been teacher and director since then. She and her husband András Szabó has started the Ádám Jenő National and International Song Competition that they arrange in Szolnok in every third year. Presently she has been working with two choirs: the Phoenix Mixed Choir of Kisújszállás, and the Chamber Choir of Chorus Masters of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County. They have already taken part in several international festivals and given concerts in many European countries. Ms. Vajna is a member of the committee of the Association of the Hungarian Choirs and Orchestras (KÓTA), of the editorial staff of Zeneszó music magazine, and the Committee of the National Adult Choirs. She is the chairwoman of the Committee of the Adult Choirs of KÓTA in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County. In 1990 she started the County Festival of Adult Choirs of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County, which has been organized every year.
