Attila Martos was a student of Aladár Pege at the prestigious Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. Having obtained his diploma in 1992, he became first scholarship holder, later regular member of the Budapest Festival Orchestra. In 1995 he became member of the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra. Since 2003 he has been again member of the double-bass section of Budapest Festival Orchestra.
