Opera singer, permanent member of the Győr National Theatre. Since 1984 she has been a member of the company of the Kisfaludy Theatre in Győr, later known as the Győr National Theatre. In 1985, she won the opera, song and oratorio categories of the Antwerp International Singing Competition, enabling her to appear on stage in Brussels as Montserrat Caballé's partner in Rossini's Semiramis.
She has also appeared on national and international stages as prima donna in several grand operettas. She has performed in Mexico (Imre Kálmán's The Queen of the Csárdás), Australia and Germany (Ferenc Lehár's The Merry Widow), but has also appeared at the Hungarian State Opera House and in the main venues of Hungary, as well as in Australia, Israel and Argentina. She has performed nearly forty leading roles.
In 1995 she released a CD entitled Swinging sentiments, featuring the most beautiful arias by Verdi and Puccini.
She has been awarded the Győr Prize for Art, the Hungarian Golden Cross of Merit and the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Hungarian Academy of Arts (2021). In March 2024 she has been given the Ferenc Liszt Prize.
