Tamás Albert was born in Budapest in 1958, and since 1989 has been a soloist at the Opera House. He is also a guest artist at the Szeged, Debrecen and Miskolc Theatres. He is particularly renowned for his Italian repertoire, and has sung the principal roles in Donizetti's Anna Bolena, Puccini's Manon Lescaut, Tosca, Gianni Schicchi and La Boheme, Rossini's Mozes and Verdi's Rigoletto, I Lombarid and Stiffelio.
