Apollónia Szolnoki was still at the Music Academy when she appeared as Oberon in Sándor Zsótér's production of Britten's Midsummer Night's Dream. In her early career, she appeared in musicals (Evita) but now concentrates on opera. Her roles have included Mrs. Quickly (Verdi: Falstaff), Maddalena (Rigoletto) and Judit (Bluebeard.)
