Soprano Szilvia Rálik was born in Békéscsaba. She graduated from the Szeged Franz Liszt College, before continuing her university studies at the Szeged Conservatoire.
She has sung in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, France and Denmark. She won a first prize at the Szeged József Simándy Singing Competition in 2000 and that same year, was awarded a scholarship from the Budapest Opera Foundation.
She made her debut at the Hungarian State Opera House in Budapest in Siegfried. In 2001, she won entry to the Opera House Studio, and is currently a soloist at the Hungarian State Opera House.
She has appeared in Mozart (Magic Flute), Bellini (Norma), Tchaikovsky (Queen of Spades), Verdi (Macbeth, Simone Boccanegra, Falstaff) and Szokolay (Vérnász.)
