Géza Gábor was born in Székesfehérvár in 1972. He began playing the piano at the age of eight. In 1990 he was admitted to the solo singer� faculty of the Béla Bartók Conservatoire where his teacher was István Rozsos. He continued his studies at the Franz Liszt Academy in 1991 from where he graduated in 1996. His teachers were Zsolt Bende and Dénes Gulyás. In 1998, he obtained his opera singing diploma, graduating from the class of Balázs Kovalik and Ádám Medveczky. He has been a guest artist at the Hungarian State Opera House since 1998. In 1999 he became a soloist at the Szeged National Theatre. The highlight of Géza Gábor� 2003 season was undoubtedly the role of Philip from Verdi� Don Carlos. At the 2003 Szeged Open Air Festival, he played the King from Verdi� Aida and Caiphas from Webber and Rice� �esus Christ, Superstar.�In 1998, he enjoyed a great success at the Szentendre Open Air Festival as Leporello from Mozart� Don Giovanni and in 2002, played Bluebeard at the Bartók and Puccini International Opera Festival in Miskolc. Géza Gábor has participated in a number of Hungarian world premieres.
