Soprano Zsuzsanna Skoff was born in Budapest and graduated from the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in 1990. She continued her studies in Milan, having won a scholarship to attend the Guiseppe Verdi College. In 1992, she received her opera singing diploma, but in 1991, made her debut in Milan in the lead of a lesser known Mozart opera (L'Oca del Cairo). She was then invited to perform with the Parma Opera and Operetta Society in the title roles of the The Merry Widow and The Czardas Princess. She made her Hungarian Opera House debut as Adina in 1995. The following year, she toured Germany with the Munich Opernbühne Company with Strauss�s operetta, the Gypsy Baron. She also sang Drusilla with the Budapest Chamber Opera in a production of Monteverdi�s Coronation of Poppea. She was a participant at the Avignon Music Festival in honour of György Kurtág. She regularly works with the Hungarian Radio Electro-acoustic studio, and is a resident guest of the electro-acoustic Music Fesival. In 2001 Zsuzsanna Skof received Artisjus Award in recognition of her services in performing Hungarian compositions.
