He began to play the violin at the age of five. When he was nine years old, he got enrolled at the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy in Budapest where he continued his studies under the guidance of Professor Géza Kapás, then Professor Dénes Kovács from 1984. In 1988 he took part at the Carl Flesch International Violin Competition in London, and in 1989 at the Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition in Bruxelles. In 1989 he received a scholarship to the United States, where he studied at Professor Josef Gingold. Then he had followed an Artist Diploma Program by Prof. Gingold at the Indiana University, School of Music in Bloomington. He had given concerts in several European countries, as well as in the USA.
