She was born in 1971 in Budapest and started to play the violin at the age of six. Following four years in the Béla Bartók Secondary Musical School, she was admitted to the Franz Liszt Music Academy of Budapest where she learned with Géza Kapás, Vilmos Szabadi and Ferenc Rados. Ms. Lesták Bedő is concert master of the Erkel Chamber Orchestra and second violin in the Pulzus String Quartet founded in 2002. In Autumn 2003 she became member of the Budapest Festival Orchestra.
