Ágnes Kállay started her violoncello studies by Kovácsné Angyal Magda,. At the Bartók Conservatory she studied under the direction of György Déri. At the present time she is a student of of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, her teacher is István Csurgay. She has won several prizes of national competitions, and she has taken part of many international courses.
