Dávid Csizmadia graduated from the Weiner Leó Music School and then the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. He has played in many orchestras from jazz to pop music. He later founded the BJC Big Band. As a soloist, he rarely plays, preferring to play in sections. He has been the principal trumpeter of the Budapest Jazz Orchestra for 10 years. In 2024, he was awarded the Artisjus Prize as a member of Studio 11, as the group's 60th anniversary concert was chosen the best production of the year.
