The Chorus was founded in 1989 by István Ella, who has ever since been their leader. All members of the Chorus are professional singers devoted to presenting baroqu choral music in general, and that of J.S. Bach in particular, in line with the latest findings of musicological research. They also sing works by Hungarian composers, like Liszt, Bartók or Kodály.
