Réz körút rézfúvós szeptett (Réz körút Brass Septet)
Orchestra, choir, ensemble
Réz körút Brass Septet was founded in 2022 by students in the brass program at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music. Through the magical timbre of brass instruments, their music offers a glimpse into the rich world of chamber music.
Their progressive approach encompasses not only arrangements of great works from the past but also experimentation with contemporary compositions. With their new concept, they have set out to carry on the legacy of their tuba player and composer, Benedek Szabó, who passed away on October 28, 2024, while exploring new paths in brass music.
