Double Weisz is a quintet established by the two Weisz brothers, János and Gábor Weisz. The combo plays jazz mainly the brothers’ own compositions, along with folk songs and classical pieces reinterpreted. Traditional Hungarian music and Bartók, played by an unorthodox and unusual combination of instruments: powerful drumming combined with the flexible sound of a fretless bass, rich percussions mingling perfectly with the softness a flute or the power of a tenor saxophone. The result is a unique, passionate and fascinating sound that will leave audiences with the taste of magic.
