Their sound is pre-dominantly post-bop but they don’t get stuck in that groove. The Fourtune(s)’ material contains Latin and rock numbers as well. The quartet has a broad dynamic range and a wide variety of interpretation. Instead of standards they play their own compositions written by the alto-sax and the guitar player.
