Accord Quartet
Orchestra, choir, ensemble
The Accord String Quartet was founded in 2001 by four final year students from the Music Academy: Péter Mező (violin), Csongor Veér (violin), Péter Kondor (viola) and Mátyás Ölveti (cello.) Besides the classical repertoire, the quartet enthusiastically performs 20th century and contemporary works and have chosen some occasionally outlandish venues for their experimental performances: most recently they performed in a Budapest metro station at the 2005 Autumn Festival.
