The Tzumo Electronic Dreams was formed a year ago, when the young piano player gathered some highly talented jazz titans who have, despite their young age, long been in-demand. The compositions are penned by Tzumo, whose studies in the USA have only allowed for one performance of the band – they gave a memorable concert at last year’s Sziget Festival. However, as the members of the rhythm section play or played together in, e.g. the Kaltenecker Trio, the European Mantra, and Fodo, they understand each other’s musical language perfectly. Their music is built using elements of jazz, rock, classical music, world music, and electronic styles, plus lots of improvisation and the power of imagination.
