Dés László Septet
Orchestra, choir, ensemble
Formed
2003
The history of the László Dés Septet started in January 2003 at the recording session of A Long Weekend in Pest and Buda, Károly Makk's new film. The sound track of the film, the majority of which is jazz music, was also released as a separate album entitled "Segments". Following the great public and professional success of the album, in 2004 the band went on tour twice touching Hungary and foreign countries alike. The László Dés Septet went to studio again in February 2005 to record the material of "Street Music", an essential continuation of "Segments".
