Creative Art Trio
Orchestra, choir, ensemble
Formed
1990
György Vukán has been leading the Creative Art Trio since 1990. The band has played at several European cities, their most memorable concerts having been in Seville at the World Expo in 1992, at the 1993 EBU festival in Budapest, and their concerts in France in 1994 and in Poland in 1995.
Their technical prowess, musicianship and exceptionally long lasting cooperation have made them a highly sought-after trio in Europe. Throughout their career they have made numerous albums (It Was, What Was My Life; Debussy; Vukán; Chopin; Vukán; Atlanta, Georgia; Contrasts; Fly Bird; Forever; Romulus etc.), and have performed with many celebrated soloists from the international music scene.
Their CD released in 1998 for the 10th anniversary of the Creative Art Ensemble features the trio in a symphonic context playing in two distinct concepts: Andalusian Cat, Capriccio Espagnol. In 1999 the Trio became a collaborating partner of the Class Jazz Band, who, together with flutist Eszter Horgas, endeavour to popularize cross-over music. On their albums and concerts, they occasionally teamed up with guest artists; these projects have brought them great success. The composer and arranger of the Trio is György Vukán.
