The Brezo Quartet (Gábor Brezovcsik - classical guitar, composer, Gábor Lukács - alto saxophone, Dániel Szerető - bass, and Gábor Molnár - drums) was formed in 2001. As they say, they play adventure music with several jazz elements, which they do not use in the traditional way. A warm, rich, delicate, baroque-like sound of the classical guitar, carefully structured compositions, broken, odd meters, and complex motifs characterize their music. The band has been invited to several international jazz festivals, for example in Russia, Luxembourg, and France.
