Remarks, other info
Notes by the composer: My work draws inspiration from two distinct sources: on the one hand, Metamorphosis II (1940), the woodcut by Maurits Cornelis Escher; on the other, the Jamaican men´s 4x100-meter relay team´s gold medal-winning performance at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. The conceptual common ground between these two points of departure lies in the chess-figure of bishop, which in Hungarian is called futó - a word that literally means "runner."
