Remarks, other info
Péter Eötvös composed "May Song" at the age of 11. According to the newspaper "Északmagyarország" (5th July 1955): "The sensation of the concert was Péter Eötvös´s May Song. The 11-year-old pupil´s composition for 4-part for children´s choir, 2 cellos, flute and piano had to be repeated by the ensemble. The little composer, who was barely visible on the podium, was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the institute and his friends. This little child has a great future ahead of him and we feel that Miskolc will be proud of him one day." (Mrs. Lászlóné Erdélyi)
