Remarks, other info
The piece was written for the concert in memory of István Vántus in 2022. All the chords in the piece are based on the facsimile 12, B-A-C-H reihe on page 91 of Mária Illés´ book on Vántus. The table is obviously to be interpreted horizontally from Vántus´ point of view, but in the piece, a vertical summation of it had been used. Thus, the transpositions of the B-A-C-H motives are lost from it, but 12 individual chords are created. The piece moves on these 12 chords. The piece was inspired by Steve Reich´s Piano Phase, with phase shifting at its center.
