Remarks, other info
"Echo for Piccolo Trumpet and Organ belongs to the genre of musical, lyrical narratives. It is a personal and emotionally charged story set in the language of music. Its capacity for characterisation lies in the large-wave melodies of the solo instrument. The title ECHO refers to the resounding acoustics and open space created by the organ sound as if the narrator were reciting from the top of an elevation and the surrounding environment were echoing his voice. The piece can be performed both in a concert hall and a church setting. (A performance in church lasts somewhat longer than in a concert hall.)" (Eötvös – 2022)
