Kristóf Siklósi is a flautist and composer from Hungary, having studied flute at Liszt Academy Budapest and currently studying composition at Universität der Künste Berlin. As a flautist he plays as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician. Beyond the classical repertoire he often organises or takes part in concerts of contemporary music, electronic music, free improvisation, jazz, experimental genres, soundpainting, theatre, or performance arts. Several new flute pieces were dedicated to him, after working and experimenting together with composers on extended flute techniques. He is co-founder and, from 2016 to 2021, artistic director of new music group 'Ensemble Z'. He played together with musicians and ensembles including Péter Eötvös, Samu Gryllus, János Bali, Amadinda Percussion Group, Budapest Dohnányi Symhony Orchestra and at venues and festivals such as Budapest Music Center, Liszt Academy, Müpa Budapest and CAFé Budapest festival.
