Csenge Mihalicza graduated in 2023 from the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where she studied composition under Péter Tornyai and Judit Varga. She continued her studies in Prague on an Erasmus scholarship under the guidance of Lubos Mrkvicka. She has achieved prestigious rankings in several international composition competitions. In 2021, she won first place in the Generace Composition Competition in the Czech Republic with Six pieces or piano, and in 2022, she won second place in the same competition with her song composition The Author's Abstract of Melancholy, based on a poem by Robert Burton. She is currently a doctoral student at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and a demonstrator in the composition department. Her works have been performed at the FUGA Budapest Architecture Center and the BMC, among other venues.
