VI. International Baltic Piano Competition in Gdańsk

The VI. International Baltic Piano Competition will be held in three stages. 

No more than 35 pianists will take part in the Competition. The list of entrants to the first stage of the Competition will be drawn up after the assessment of submitted video-recordings by the Selection Committee consisting of members of the Piano Faculty of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. 

A maximum number of 12 pianists will be accepted to the second stage, and no more than 3 contestants will perform in the final stage. Performances will take place according to the alphabetical order of the contestants’ surnames commencing with a letter determined by a draw. The organizers will inform selected entrants about their admission to the first stage of the Competition via e-mail no later than 30th of September 2026. Qualified participants must be present at the Inauguration of the Competition on November 28, 2026, during which the starting letter will be drawn. 

Applications should be made via electronic application form available on the Competition website by 6th of September 2026. Application form will be available from 15th of June 2026.
