The Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Tuba Competition is open to young musicians from any country:
- students in the 12th and 13th grades of secondary schools of music
- full-time or part-time students enrolled in BA courses at higher education institutions in Hungary and abroad, regardless of age
- students in a Master's degree programme in teaching without age limit
- full-time or part-time students in a Master's programme in teaching, without age limit
