She studied at the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy, Budapestand the Musikhochschule, Vienna. In 1992 she received a scholarship to the Bach Academie in Stuttgart, and won prizes at teh singing competitions in Barcelona and Pretoria. She contributed to production of stage works and oratotios in several countires of Europe, and was a soloist of radio and television programs as well as recordings.
In 1996, Márta Fers went on tour with the ensemble Capella Savaria directed by Pál Németh to give a performance at the Ekhof Theatre of Gotha, then she sang on the festival organized on the ocassion of the 275th anniversary of Georg Benda.
