Bass Bence Asztalos graduated from Sándor Sólyom-Nagy's class at the Music Academy. In 2002, he joined the Deutsche Oper am Rhein studio and appeared in Salome, Tosca and Ariadne auf Naxos at the Düsseldorf opera and the Duisburg Theatre. He has appeared regularly at the Hungarian State Opera since 2000 and this year sang Donner from Rheingeld and First Soldier from Salome, amongst other roles.
