The newest possibilities of amplification of the cimbalom and their presentation
Lecturer:
Tamás Ditzmann - sound engineer
The topic is the presentation of the various possibilities of aplifying the cimbalom, which is an increasingly important issue in concert life and in various stage productions.
- We will go through microphoning techniques and how to adapt them to different acoustic environments. The aim of the lecture, which will include a theoretical and practical demonstration, is to help cimbalom players to find their own sound and to get a good handle on the instrument.
- We also welcome applications from sound engineers and technicians who would like to learn more about the different possibilities of the cimbalom and use this knowledge in their future work.
The lecture will be conducted by sound engineer Tamás Ditzmann, who is the chief sound engineer of various concerts and theatre productions in Hungary and abroad, as well as the sound engineer of Miklós Lukács' solo concerts!
