The 7th installment of the Transparent Sound New Music Festival will take place January 7-20, 2020. The programme of the two-week-long festival will include concerts – paired with interactive introductory sessions, – workshops for professionals and the public, children’s events, an international symposium, a sound-theater for the whole family, an exhibition and movie screenings. This year the festival will focus particularly on the works and performances of female musicians and composers. One of these composers is László Melis, who had a profound influence on the music of today. He composed among others the music of several dozen feature films, several hundred theatrical performances and radio plays.

Modern Art Orchestra performs on the 18 of January in BMC pieces and transcriptions of songs and other works composed by László Melis. With these works they would like to commemorate László Melis during the Transparent Sound Festival. After the concert there will be a screening where Paths of Death and Angels - a film by Zoltán Kamondi will be presented. The composer of the filmmusic is László Melis.

József Schrevek, who has an exceptional ability to disentangle entwined lives, is touched by Death. Using his invisible power, the old man tries to perform the miracle once again for the last time and find his successor. It is his tragedy that his son  István is unsuitable for the part, he has not inhereted his father's ethereal qualities. Now his only hope is the young Ilona (a friend of István) who discovers the power of József in himself...
