3. The Association has legal personality

4. Purpose of the Association:
The Association has been established for enabling two kinds of the Hungarian Brass - instrument Players: the Trombone- and Tuba Artist to achieve inland- and international successes, to give a hand in teaching these instruments as well as to safeguard the interests of their players.

Prominent purposes of the Association' s activity:

- to safeguard the interests of the Hungarian Trombone - and Tuba Artists,
- to promote the of the Hungarian Trombone - and Tuba Artists', professional level,
- to assist the teaching of the trombone- and tuba- instruments, improving the educational and self- educational circumstances of both instruments,
- stimulating contamporary Hungarian composers to create new compositions and to play latters on a high artistic level, increasing thereby their international prestige,
- establishing contacts with international associations,
- organizing national and international meetings, conferences, international competitions.

5. Creation and cessation of membership
:
Any person - regardless of citizenship and professional skill - who accepts present Statutes and pays the membership fees, may be a member of the Association.

1993 September
Branimir Slokar and his 10 member band's concert with trombone in the auditorium of Budapest Academy of music

1995 September
Roger Bobo Performed John Williams's Concerto, accompanied by MRT Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Tamás Vásáry) at the Hungarien Radio's studio 6.
The concert was followed by a mastercourse for the students of the Music Academy.

1995 May
Concert at the Music Academy was held in remembrance of György Zilcz trombon player

1995 August
Hajdúböszörmény- I. tuba mastercourse

1996 February
National Trombone contest and ball. Invited foreign member of the jury Heinz Fadle (D), the ball concert's Jiggs Wigham jazz trombone artist.

1996 July
I. Nationale Trombone - Tuba meeting and workshop, Zsámbék
Held courses: Michel Bequet (F), Ben van Dijk (NL), Bart van Lier (NL), Heinz Fadle (D) trombone, Roger Bobo (USA-I), Mel Culbertson (USA-F), Jeff Funderburk (USA) tuba (former chairman of the Tuba World Federation).

1996 September
Concert in memory of Pehl András trombone player.

1997 January
1st clubconcert of MAHATUSZ.

1997 May 8.
MAHATUSZ was selected in the members of ITA (Trombone National Federation). Ronald Barron's concerts and mastercourse.

1997 August
II. Tuba mastercourse, Hajdúböszörmény

1997 October
Remembrance ceremony of the 100th anniversary of Music Academy's faculty of trombone.

1998 January- April 30.
Donald Beyer (casette) trombone contest (tenor and bass), only for Hungarian participants.

1998 May 20.
Trombone Gala concert for the 100th anniversary of Music Academy's faculty of trombone. Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Budapest
